What you will be doing
To develop the skills, knowledge and experience required to become a Field Service Engineer by supporting the delivery of services across the Ricoh portfolio, working alongside experienced colleagues to provide excellent customer service and contribute to operational performance.
Work closely with the Contact Centre Dispatcher and mentor to coordinate the efficient allocation and scheduling of service calls, ensuring customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved and engineers' time is utilised effectively.
Support regional technical teams by collaborating with engineers and mentors to resolve customer issues and share technical knowledge, helping to maintain high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Assist with service improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve processes and enhance operational efficiency, contributing to lower service costs and improved customer outcomes.
Support the development and maintenance of positive customer relationships through professional communication and timely updates, ensuring customers remain informed and receive a high-quality service experience.
Collaborate with the Service Manager and wider service team to achieve Service Performance Indicators (SPIs), helping to monitor performance, drive continuous improvement and deliver business objectives.
Participate in apprenticeship training, technical development programmes and self-learning activities, building the skills, knowledge and competencies required for a successful career in field service engineering.
Support service inventory and parts management activities by maintaining accurate stock records and following inventory best practices, helping to minimise costs, improve first-time fix rates and maximise operational efficiency.
Deliver services in line with customer entitlements, service contracts and company policies, while identifying opportunities for chargeable services where appropriate, ensuring contractual compliance, revenue protection and excellent customer service
You will ideally have
Align with industry development program such as computer network associate.
Experience in communicating with customers or the public.
Good understanding of the internal and external customer principles
Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
Numerate and literate
Highly PC & IT network literate
