Job Description
At Mott MacDonald, we believe in the power of data, collaboration, and purpose to drive meaningful change. As a Graduate Cost and Carbon Intelligence Consultant, you’ll be part of a passionate team committed to building a more sustainable, equitable future. You’ll work on transformative infrastructure projects across water, transport, energy, and the environment, helping clients make informed decisions that reduce carbon, optimise costs, and create lasting societal impact.
This is more than a job - it’s a chance to grow, contribute, and thrive in a supportive environment where your voice matters and your wellbeing is prioritised.
Your Impactful Contribution:
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to capture, validate, and analyse cost and carbon data across project lifecycles.
Ensure contractor data aligns with client standards, promoting transparency and consistency.
Apply yardsticks and allocate costs to assets with precision and integrity.
Maintain and enhance databases, ensuring they reflect evolving standards and inflationary trends.
Create compelling reports and visualisations that empower clients to make data-driven, sustainable choices.
Drive innovation by continuously improving data capture methodologies and tools.
What We Offer You:
A structured graduate development programme with mentoring, training, and clear pathways for growth.
Opportunities to work on global projects and learn from diverse, inclusive teams.
Agile working options to support your personal wellbeing and work-life balance.
A culture that celebrates achievements, values every voice, and fosters belonging.
The chance to make a real difference - helping shape resilient, low-carbon infrastructure that benefits communities for generations.
At Mott MacDonald, we don’t just build infrastructure—we build trust, empower people, and create positive change. If you’re ready to start your career with purpose, we’d love to hear from you.

UK Immigration
Mott MacDonald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK. This decision is as a consequence of the changes made to the Skilled Worker route by the UK Government in April 2024.
Our ethos is to develop, train and retain our graduates and therefore we are looking for a long-term relationship with our graduates. For this reason, we cannot accept applications from candidates who would be working under the Graduate visa route or other time-limited visas, (irrespective of visa duration), due to their temporary nature and the requirement for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route in future.
We continue to welcome applications from candidates who are eligible for alternative immigration routes in the UK, that do not require sponsorship as a Skilled Worker now or in future.
