We operate in over 100 countries, with 16,000 colleagues who care about great beer, responsible drinking and a more sustainable future.
As a People First organisation, we’re happy to discuss flexible working options.
What You’ll Do
Our four-year Engineering Apprenticeship programme is designed to develop the engineering technicians and engineers of the future. Engineering apprentices play a hugely important role at Molson Coors, solving challenges that arise from some of the most advanced packaging and brewing equipment in the industry.
As an Engineering Apprentice, you’ll maintain complex equipment and help ensure high standards of safety, manufacturing quality and documentation. You’ll receive tailored on-the-job training from our in-house specialists, rotate around departments in your home brewery and have a mentor to support and guide you throughout the programme.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will:
Develop electrical, mechanical and process automation skills.
Learn the theory and practical application of packaging and production equipment operation and maintenance.
Support engineering projects including design, installation and commissioning.
Carry out unplanned equipment repairs through fault finding and diagnosis.
In your first year, you’ll spend most of your time at college, studying the theory behind the apprenticeship while gaining practical hands-on experience. In subsequent years, you’ll continue at college one day a week while developing new skills as part of an engineering team on site.
Alongside your practical experience, you’ll study towards nationally recognised professional qualifications, including a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering and potentially a HNC Level 4 in Engineering.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re enthusiastic about learning, developing your skills and building a career in engineering. You don’t need prior experience, just genuine interest in the industry.
You should:
Be 18 by the first week of September 2027.
Be able to work full time at our Burton Brewery.
Have, or be predicted, a GCSE in Maths at grade 5-9.
Have Level 3 qualifications, such as A levels and/or a BTEC, with a minimum of 96 UCAS points.
This apprenticeship/opportunity is designed for individuals at the start of their career who have limited work experience or ideal for applications at the start of their career journey
