Bruntwood’s Graduate Building Surveyor role develops graduates in building surveying, asset management, fit-outs and project delivery across a commercial property portfolio, with a strong focus on sustainable development.

Job purpose:
The Graduate Building Surveyor is a key multi-disciplined role that touches all aspects of looking after building assets within a wider portfolio inclusive of extensive project management activity. This role is one that works as part of a team within a matrix but with the freedom to use your specialist knowledge and creative thinking, to solve problems that support your wider team to achieve their ambitious goals.
What we’re looking for:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying
A positive collaborator, with the role being client side you’ll work closely with internal development/operations and finance teams.
A passion for developing sustainable and innovative spaces, enjoying the process of thinking creatively and problem solving
What you’ll be doing:
Input into and contribute to company-wide projects/initiatives where related to your area.
Work with internal experts to make sure we meet asset standards and sustainability objectives.
Work with senior colleagues and contribute to wider pieces of work which align to the wider strategic objectives.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to understand their business needs and priorities from a Building Consultancy perspective and provide support, expertise and advice.

Contribute to the delivery of projects within your portfolio using your knowledge of internal and external best practice, including life cycle analysis and preparation of service charge major project plans.
Learn to deliver projects from low to medium value and complexity, for assets and required Cat A & B fit-outs, using innovative and progressive solutions.
