We are recruiting a recent graduate of the University to join our team of technologists.You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of academics, researchers and technologists, in a Lab that spans the full spectrum of creative and advanced technology: digital and analogue fabrication, including CNC machining, robotics, 3D printing and laser cutting; digital modelling, simulation and capture; virtual and augmented reality; a new Virtual Production Studio; and our new flagship Immersive Experience Lab. The CAT LAB offers diverse, cutting-edge facilities dedicated to teaching, research and innovation, and an excellent working environment.You will need to be a graduate in a design, creative-technology or related discipline, with strong skills in analogue and/or digital fabrication or creative computing, and experience of working with a range of materials, processes and software-driven equipment. You will help maintain and develop the Lab and its equipment; instruct and train students and colleagues in the safe and correct use of the facilities; and support Lab Users in developing their work. Your role will include supporting the Lab's research and enterprise projects and installing exhibitions and events.
