The Graduate Bid Manager opportunity is a trainee position that offers a full training and development plan for someone who wants to develop a career in work winning. As a Graduate Bid Writer you will: • Learn and develop the necessary bid writing skills to be able to develop a career in bid writing in the rail industry• Assist in the full bid quality submission process including • Managing deliverable schedules • Developing storyboards • Developing written responses to tender questions • Review responses • Assist in the timely completion of pre-qualification questionnaires • Assist in managing the Bid Library • Maintain CVs • Assist in producing case studies of completed projected. • You will build and maintain relationships with other departments and functions including key subject matter expertsAbout you• You will be a graduate in English or Journalism or other relevant degree • You will have excellent communication skills with demonstrable evidence of ability to produce written responses • You will be creative and have proven IT skills • You will be interested in a career in bid writing in the rail industry and be keen to develop industry knowledge • Previous experience within the Railway, Commercial, Construction or comparable industry is desirable but not essential • Proven IT skills and proficient in MS office applications • Ability to organise and plan • Attention to detail • Ability to manage time, prioritise and juggle multiple priorities • A team player If your past experience doesn’t match perfectly with every requirement of the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
