This Health & Safety Technician Apprenticeship provides practical experience in workplace health, safety, and environmental management while completing a fully funded Level 3 qualification. The role involves supporting risk assessments, safety inspections, incident investigations, HSE training, documentation, and sustainability initiatives.
About the role
You’ll support the Health & Safety team to help create a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace. This is a varied role combining office-based work with practical, on-site activity, giving you real exposure to health, safety and environmental management.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting risk assessments, inspections and safe systems of work
Assisting with health & safety training, inductions and toolbox talks
Helping investigate incidents and analyse health & safety data
Maintaining HSE records and documentation
Promoting safe working practices and a positive safety culture
Supporting environmental and sustainability initiatives
What we’re looking for
GCSEs level 4 or above (or grade C or above) in Maths and English
Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
Interest in health, safety and environmental management
Basic IT skills and willingness to learn
