Your role
Interested in working in finance, specifically within the Investment Bank, but not sure where to start? Are you excited by supporting multiple Investment Bank businesses on a global level?
We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Apprenticeship Program within our Investment Bank Chief Operating Office (IB COO). IB COO partners with and supports businesses across the Investment Bank, helping to enable their strategic priorities.
You’ll get to:
• develop your knowledge of the Investment Bank through exposure across business areas, products, and regions
• work as a partner to support and enable various businesses across the Investment Bank, analysing, developing, and implementing strategic solutions to improve and enhance the business
• collaborate with colleagues in control functions to oversee the front-to-back environment for specific areas of the Investment Bank

Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
• has completed or is completing their A-levels (or equivalent) between September 2025 and September 2027
• has achieved or is on track to achieve ABB at A-level (or equivalent)
• has achieved grade 5 in English Language GCSE and grade 6 in Maths GCSE
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. It’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. We want to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team.

Your program
This Apprenticeship will last four years. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
You’ll begin with a Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist apprenticeship and move onto a Level 6 Financial Services Professional apprenticeship. It includes a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 and/or the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI) qualification, which culminates in a BSc (Honours) Applied Finance degree.
