Analyse workforce data, build dashboards, support financial modelling and workforce planning, and provide data-driven insights to help guide business and people strategy.
Hello. We’re Teya.
Teya was founded on a simple belief: local businesses deserve better.
They are the cafés, restaurants, salons, shops and entrepreneurs that bring character to our high streets, create jobs and keep communities moving. Yet for too long, financial services has made life harder for them - with clunky tools, poor support and complexity that gets in the way of running a business.
Teya exists to change that.
We’re building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe - one built around simple tools, thoughtful design and real human support. Our Members rely on us to help them run their business with confidence, and that responsibility shapes the way we work.
We move fast. We care about quality. We stay close to the detail. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand. If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from you
Your Mission
Join the team responsible for the analytical engine behind Teya's People function. You'll work with the People team to help answer some of the most important questions in the business. How much does our workforce cost? Where should we hire next? How quickly are we growing? What happens if we restructure a team? Which hiring channels perform best?
This isn't a traditional HR role. It's an opportunity to build strong analytical, financial modelling and business partnering skills while working directly with senior leaders on decisions that shape how Teya grows.
From your first day you'll work with large datasets, build dashboards, support workforce planning, automate reporting, and help turn complex people data into clear recommendations.
What you'll do
Support the management of Teya's global headcount and people cost data, ensuring information is accurate, complete and trusted.
Build and maintain dashboards covering key people metrics including headcount, hiring, attrition, retention, internal mobility and organisational health.
Analyse trends across the business and identify insights that help leaders make better decisions.
Support workforce planning by updating hiring forecasts, headcount plans and people cost models.
Assist with scenario modelling for hiring plans, organisational changes and business cases.
Help prepare analysis and presentations for Executive Team, Board and leadership meetings.
Work with Finance to ensure people forecasts remain accurate and aligned with company budgets.
Support the implementation and ongoing development of our planning tools, including Pigment.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data quality and simplify analytical processes using AI and modern tooling.
Partner with the wider People team to answer ad hoc analytical questions and provide data-driven recommendations.
What we're looking for
Recently graduated, or graduating this year, in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Finance or similar.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex problems into structured solutions.
Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with numbers and large datasets.
Curious, detail-oriented and naturally interested in understanding how businesses operate.
Comfortable learning new systems and technology quickly.
Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical tools is a bonus, but not essential.
Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and solve problems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain analysis clearly to non-technical audiences.
A proactive mindset—you enjoy figuring things out rather than waiting for instructions.
What you'll learn
Over the course of the role you'll gain hands-on experience in:
Financial modelling and workforce planning
People analytics and business intelligence
Organisational design and operating models
Executive reporting and board-level analysis
Budgeting and forecasting
Data visualisation and dashboard development
AI-powered analytical workflows
Commercial decision-making in a high-growth fintech
You'll work closely with the People Planning & Analytics Lead and the VP People, giving you exposure to strategic projects that most graduates wouldn't see until much later in their careers.
