Supports global learning and development programs by organizing data, maintaining documentation, analyzing reports, and improving business processes using data and AI tools.

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Position Overview

The Enablement, Data & Documentation Intern is a hands-on learning opportunity designed for students who want to build practical experience in data analysis, business operations, and process documentation. In this role, you will support the Global Sales & Customer Success Learning and Development (GLaD) team by helping keep learner programs organised, data accurate, and processes clearly documented.

You will be supported with guidance, examples, and mentorship while working on real projects that have real impact. This role also introduces you to responsible use of AI tools, with a focus on learning how to ask good questions, check results for accuracy, and use AI as a support tool, not a replacement for effort.

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Enablement Support

  • Help track learner and certification progress using existing reports, spreadsheets, and tools

  • Assist with organising learner follow-ups and program data coordinated through email and other written communication

  • Support day-to-day tasks that keep enablement programs running smoothly

Data & Analysis (Guided)

  • Work with Excel to review and organise data

  • Learn how to spot trends, gaps, or missing information

  • Help summarise data findings in a clear, easy-to-understand way

  • Practice checking data for accuracy and consistency

Documentation & Process Basics

  • Help create and update process documents, guides, and reference materials

  • Organise documentation so it is easy for teams to find and use

  • Learn how workflows are documented and improved in a business setting

  • Participate in reviewing documents to ensure they are up to date

AI as a Tool

  • Use AI tools to help with summaries, drafting, and data analysis tasks

  • Learn how to write clear prompts and review AI outputs carefully

  • Build good habits around accuracy, validation, and critical thinking

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (Business, Analytics, Data, Information Systems, Economics, Communications, Technical Writing, or related discipline)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Clear written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn new tools and concepts

Preferred

  • Coursework or academic projects involving data, research, or documentation

  • Experience using AI tools for school or productivity
