Graduate Health & Safety Advisor

Sensata Technologies offers a Safety Specialist role focused on ensuring regulatory compliance, managing safety reporting, supporting incident tracking, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards within the organization.

The Safety Specialist is responsible for supporting various safety measures that follow company protocol, as well as state and federal laws.

General Responsibilities
• Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures, regulatory safety in compliance with national and international regulations and regional regulations for the reporting of adverse events to regulatory agencies
• Participates in the development and preparation of reports for company management as well as external regulatory agencies
• Assists in the preparation of new product application safety updates, investigational new product safety reports, investigator communications, product labeling/package inserts and other reports as necessary
• Coordinates the maintenance of records on lost time accidents and prepares appropriate reports
• May implement hazardous waste control and disposal activities including training, collection, disposal, and records maintenance, as well as conservation programs within the organization

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standard
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Relevant qualifications or experience in ESH field, NEBOSH qualified.
