About the Role

Join our January 2027 early careers intake as a Graduate / Junior Architectural Technician and become part of the Xcellerate cohort, our dedicated early careers development programme.

Based at our head office in Godalming, Surrey, you’ll work alongside experienced architectural technicians on Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical projects. From day one you’ll gain hands-on experience, work within multidisciplinary project teams, and build your technical and professional skills with structured support.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is predominantly office-based, with occasional site visits. A full, valid driving licence would therefore be an advantage but is not essential.

What you’ll do

• Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD and 3D models using Revit

• Support the development and coordination of architectural, structural and building services models

• Collaborate with architects, engineers and designers through design team and coordination meetings

• Create and maintain Revit projects, drawings and schedules in line with project standards

• Use BIM 360 and visualisation software such as Enscape to support model coordination, design reviews and client presentations

• Maintain accurate project documentation, manage workloads effectively, meet deadlines and contribute to improving digital design processes

You will be

• Qualified to ONC, HNC or HND level in the built environment or architecture, hold a Part I Architectural degree, or be working towards one

• Have a basic understanding of construction techniques, materials and products

• Experienced in AutoCAD and Revit, with familiarity in 3D modelling, BIM and digital design technologies

• Competent in general IT, including Microsoft Word and Excel

• A strong communicator with good organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

• Proactive, able to use your initiative and keen to learn new software and ways of working

• Experience with BIM 360 and Enscape would be advantageous but is not essential

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an attractive benefits package, including:
