Support the Wet Petfood sales and exports team by assisting with administration, customer service, financial processes, and business operations while completing a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.
The Position
Applications are invited for a Business Sales Apprentice based at our ReFood, Doncaster site. This is a full time, permanent, position working 40 hours per week.
As a Business Sales Apprentice, your duties and responsibilities will be varied in support of the existing team and will include developing skills and knowledge in the following areas-
Support the Wet Petfood Team across Sales and Exports activities.
Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports to support departmental decision-making.
Contribute to customer service activities, ensuring a high standard of communication and support.
Participate in financial processes, including budgeting and cost tracking.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support team objectives and projects.
Be willing to engage in training and development in business administration, as required.
To provide general administrative/office support to the department including data entry, filing, scanning, post duties etc.
Develop IT proficiency using tools such as Excel and ERP systems.
Complete other ad hoc tasks / reasonable requests as and when requested by management.
The Person
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths (or equivalent).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good numeracy and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive, taking initiative to contribute to team goals.
The ability to speak French would be an advantage.
You will be required to undertake additional company training in other disciplines to further develop and complement a full skill set needed for the role.
We will support you as part of a structured Apprenticeship programme where you will attain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification on a day release basis.
Salary: Apprentice rates depending on age
