Rubicon Technical Technical & Regulatory Coordinator role providing regulatory consultancy across medicines, medical devices, food supplements, cosmetics and other consumer healthcare products, including compliance reviews, regulatory submissions, scientific reports and client management.

Technical & Regulatory Coordinator Role:
This is a fast-paced and incredibly varied role by nature of being a consultancy. The day-to-day requirements of the job will change, some weeks being based solely in the Hull office, others may be spent largely out on a client’s site. Rubicon’s clients range from small, localised businesses to large multinational consumer health companies. This invaluable experience will develop your professional network and give you industry experience that is unrivalled.
Responsibilities:
• Managing Regulatory Affairs Projects for a diverse client portfolio in the healthcare sector from SME to multinationals.
• Managing clients
• Provide regulatory advice and services across multiple product categories including food supplements, cosmetics, general products, medical devices and medicines.
• Support with Food Business Operator/Responsible Person services including initial client calls, progression of regulatory tasks, acting as client lead and communicating progression with other internal stakeholders
• Compliance reviews and detailed assessment of labelling, pack copy, formulations and advertising (Webpages, Social Media, TV, Radio, Digital media).
• Providing regulatory strategy for NPD and market expansion
• Author scientific reports for clients on claims/safety/efficacy/substantiation etc.
• Preparation of dossiers and filing of notifications and registrations in UK & EU
• Support clients with regulatory documentation for non-EU export markets.
• Generate new business, e.g. from new client calls, expansion of business from existing clients and generating leads from trade shows
• Monitor changes in regulatory landscape and keep up to date knowledge of UK and EU laws and guidelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of regulatory processes within the business
• Generate and review standard operating procedures for expert subject matter area.
• Participate and represent the company at external meetings, events, trade shows etc. where necessary and applicable.
•Provide regulatory support to other areas of the business when required, e.g. digital transformation.

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Pharmacology, Human Biology etc).
• Attention to detail.
• Confident to communicate and present with good networking/social skills.
• Ability to occasionally travel to visit clients and trade shows worldwide.
