Graduate Enterprise Leadership Programme rotating across three placements to develop commercial, analytical, project management and leadership skills across Royal London.
Royal London is the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions and investment company. We’re owned by our members and work for their benefit, not shareholder profits, and that makes us different.
We're looking for ambitious, creative and intellectually curious graduates to join our Graduate Enterprise Leadership Programme, starting in September 2027. Through three placements across Royal London, you'll develop judgement, commercial understanding and relationships needed to become a future enterprise leader.
What We Offer
£33,000 starting salary (higher for placements in London) plus performance bonus
Double-matched pension contributions (up to 14%) and life assurance (up to 8x salary)
28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days
Private medical insurance and 24/7 access to health, legal and financial advice
Hybrid working, excellent office facilities, and locational support for placements away from your home office
Access to inclusion networks, business-wide events, and leadership communities
Your Leadership Journey
You will complete three placements across the full Royal London Group, gaining experience in different teams, disciplines and locations.
Along the way you will:
Contribute to projects with real business impact
Use data and insight to support decision-making
Work with colleagues and leaders from across the business
Bring fresh thinking and challenge constructively
Collaborate with your graduate cohort on business projects
Develop your commercial awareness, confidence and leadership capability
There’s no fixed placement pathway. Your placements will be shaped by business priorities, helping you develop a broad understanding of how different capabilities come together to deliver for customers, members and the long-term success of the business.
How we’ll support you
You will join a small and close-knit graduate cohort and receive structured support throughout the programme, including:
A dedicated People Leader and Buddy in each placement
A Mentor who will support you throughout the two years
Targeted learning and development
Regular opportunities to learn with your graduate cohort
Support to plan your career and explore opportunities beyond the programme
We’re Looking For Graduates Who Are
Curious, adaptable and eager to learn
Interested in technology, data and problem solving
Strong communicators and relationship builders
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and projects
Excited by the opportunity to work across different teams and locations
Motivated to make a positive contribution from day one
Even if you don't meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. We are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, and your unique experiences and perspectives could be a great addition to our team.
