This graduate mechanical engineering role within QinetiQ focuses on supporting advanced and additive manufacturing programs, undertaking mechanical design for reverse engineering processes, and drafting technical design certificates.

Role Purpose:
To support the current and future Additive/Advanced Manufacture programmes delivering direct to customer projects.
Key Accountabilities:
Undertaking mechanical design work to support our reverse engineering processes
Work with the team to help draft elements of reports and QinetiQ Design Certificates
Support the team with production calls with internal and external stakeholders
To contribute to safe and efficient management or our workshop and AdM facilities.
To develop own understanding and skills in field of materials, mechanical design, engineering governance and additive manufacturing.
Key Capabilities/Knowledge:
Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering with particular interest (i.e. degree module or final year project or actual work experience) in fields of Materials or Additive Manufacturing
Capable of expanding knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Additive Manufacturing at pace under mentorship of subject matter experts.
Experience & Qualifications:
Degree (BSc or BEng Hons. minimum) in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
