As a Data Products Analyst Apprentice at Peabody, you’ll help develop reporting and analytics products using our new enterprise data platform, supporting smarter decisions across the organisation.
This is an exciting entry‑level opportunity designed for people who want to start a career in data and analytics. You’ll work closely with experienced data professionals, including the Head of Data Products, while completing a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship and gaining hands‑on experience delivering real data products that make a difference.
What you’ll do
Support the development of reporting and analytics products using Peabody’s data platform
Work with data engineers, platform engineers and business subject‑matter experts to deliver high‑quality data products
Engage with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into useful insights
Explore patterns, trends and connections in data to highlight opportunities for service improvement and transformation
Apply analytical techniques to challenge traditional approaches and identify innovative solutions
Test and quality‑assure data outputs to ensure accuracy, reliability and consistency
Follow data governance policies and the data management framework
Contribute to the analytics centre of excellence and promote a data‑driven culture
Support evidence‑based business cases for transformation and change initiatives
Learn how to analyse, visualise and present insights clearly for decision‑makers
What you’ll gain from the apprenticeship
As part of your 14‑month Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship, you will:
Dedicate off‑the‑job time to formal training, workshops and learning sessions
Apply your learning through real projects and practical experience
Complete assignments, assessments and coursework
Take part in regular 1:1s, reviews and feedback sessions
Receive mentoring and support from experienced data professionals
Build skills that support long‑term career development
Complete a final End Point Assessment to demonstrate your knowledge and competence
The training provider for this apprenticeship is Learn Tech.
What you’ll need
No prior experience is required — this is a training role.
You’ll be someone who:
Is curious about data, technology and problem‑solving
Enjoys learning new skills and exploring new ideas
Likes working with numbers, patterns or structured information
Pays attention to detail and enjoys making sense of information
Is comfortable asking questions and working collaboratively
Is committed to completing the Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship, including study time
Nice to have (but not essential)
Any self‑led exploration of data, coding or technology (e.g. Python, datasets, tutorials)
Interest in how organisations use data to improve performance or decision‑making
Entry requirements
Minimum Level 2 qualifications (e.g. 5 GCSEs or equivalent)
Eligibility to undertake an apprenticeship (subject to funding rules)
