Graduate Product Manager role managing product performance, customer requirements, demonstrations, project milestones, documentation, reporting, and machine-learning validation for technology used in the rail industry.
Role Summary
As Graduate Product Manager, you will first learn, then shape the trajectory of our product suite. You will become an expert user of AIVR and our broader technology to drive high-impact results for our customers. By taking ownership of product performance and project delivery, you will ensure our solutions solve critical challenges and exceed customer expectations.
This role requires an interest in technology, whether in software, electronics, or rail systems. You will have a practical and pragmatic approach, delivering precise, detail-oriented work and yet also be flexible and responsive when required.
Candidates without directly comparable experience should still apply if they believe they can demonstrate the right attitude and aptitude, and/or have transferable skills.
Responsibilities
Develop a deep operational understanding of AIVR and our other products. You will become the expert on how our technology solves complex, real-world problems for our customers.
Develop an understanding of our customers requirements, and an understanding of what our products can do to provide benefits to our customers. In doing this you will build knowledge of the rail industry.
Present and demonstrate our solutions to customers, ensuring our technology aligns with their specific needs.
Take ownership of specific features and project milestones, ensuring the product roadmap delivers measurable value.
Provide support to our service & operations team by creating quality documentation.
Proactively monitor product performance and deliver bespoke reporting to meet the needs of our customers.
Validate machine learning models and positioning data through robust ground truth exercises.
Personal Qualities
Essential
Degree-level education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.
A demonstrated interest in technology, in at least one of the following areas:
Software development
Electronics and systems engineering
The rail industry
The ability to learn quickly and accurately communicate detailed technical information.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – written, on the phone and in person.
Strong analytical skills to interpret, analyse and perform tests robustly.
Confident user of technology.
A keen eye for detail – ability to execute detailed tasks accurately.
Well organised.
Familiarity with MS Office/Google GSuite productivity software (Docs, Sheets).
Desirable
Familiarity with or enthusiasm for rail.
Previous experience within a product or technical support role.
