Your graduate journey

As a graduate trainee in Coutts Relationship Management, we’ll equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact throughout your career.

Over the course of this two-year programme, you can expect to:

  • Achieve your own track record of success by undertaking various placements across the teams that support our relationship managers and specifically within our relationship management teams

  • Quickly develop your relationship management expertise and commercial awareness

  • Work alongside Relationship Managers and Specialist Advisers to see how they work together to provide world class client experiences

  • Master a deep understanding of our services and specialist product knowledge

  • Learn how to identify business development opportunities and digital solutions

  • Study for qualifications relevant to the jobs you’ll potentially roll off into including a IAD, and PCIAM

How you’ll benefit

We’ll reward you with a starting salary of £37,500 a year, as well as an additional location allowance of £3,450. And on top of your salary, you’ll have access to our flexible benefits package.

To be eligible for our Coutts Relationship Management graduate programme, you’ll need:

  • To have, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree

  • A strong customer focus

  • To be change ready and quick to adapt

  • A growth mindset and passion for learning

  • To enjoy collaborating and working as a team

  • Good problem-solving skills
