Quantity Surveying Graduate Scheme

Kier Graduate Quantity Surveyor role supporting the financial and contractual management of infrastructure projects, including budgeting, cost estimation, valuations and tender preparation.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you'll assist in managing the contractual and financial aspects of infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and develop a strong foundation in quantity surveying. What will you be responsible for?

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Quantity Surveying team, supporting them in delivering successful infrastructure projects.

Your day to day will include:

• Assisting in preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and cost estimates

• Supporting the measurement and valuation of work done on-site

• Helping prepare and submit tenders and contract documents

• Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure work meets specifications

• Collaborating with the project team to prepare progress reports and financial statements

What are we looking for?

We're looking for people due to graduate in 2027, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Quantity Surveying.

This role of Graduate Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you:

• Have a degree in Quantity Surveying or are currently working towards one

• Demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career in quantity surveying and the construction industry

• Have strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail

• Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration, reliability, and respect for others

• Hold a Full driving licence
