Graduate Stakeholder Officer

Kier Graduate Stakeholder Officer role supporting stakeholder and community engagement, communications and relationship management across major projects.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Graduate Stakeholder Officer, you'll support the team in developing the project's established relationship with our client, stakeholders and the local community affected by the scheme.

Your day to day will include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders impacted by the project

• Coordinating all proactive and reactive customer and stakeholder communications, keeping communities informed through multiple channels

• Supporting the stakeholder manager to support contact for the project

• Investigating and responding to enquiries, maintaining an accurate audit trail of all stakeholder engagement

• Delivering presentations to stakeholders and community groups, working collaboratively to improve customer experience

How does the graduate scheme work? 

When you join, you will be enrolled onto our graduate scheme. The programme will take 2 years to complete and has been designed to equip you with the skills you need to excel in your chosen profession and help you achieve professional membership or chartership.

What are we looking for? 

We're looking for people due to graduate in 2027, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in communications or a related field

• Build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and accurate communications

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidently managing multiple priorities, making informed decisions, and responding effectively to changing situations

• Are highly organised and process-driven, with excellent record-keeping skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel

• Hold a UK driving licence
