Graduate Business Development Assistant

Kier Graduate Business Development Assistant role supporting client research, market opportunities, bids, stakeholder engagement and commercial growth within the construction and property sector.

Kier Places is Kier's building, estate and property management business, delivering end-to-end solutions for places where people live and work. As a Graduate Business Development Assistant, you'll support the identification, development and securing of new business opportunities across public and private sector markets.

This role is designed for a recent graduate looking to develop a career in business development, sales, marketing or strategic growth within the construction and property industry. Through a structured development programme, you'll build commercial awareness, develop stakeholder management skills and gain an understanding of how Kier Places creates value for clients and communities.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Graduate Business Development Assistant, you'll be working within the Business Development team, supporting them in identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Your day to day will include:

• Supporting the team in identifying and researching potential clients, projects and market opportunities

• Assisting in maintaining client relationship management systems and conducting market research

• Supporting the preparation of client presentations, capability statements and business development materials

• Coordinating client meetings, networking events and stakeholder engagement activities

• Working with Bid and Pre-Construction teams to support tender submissions and building effective relationships with colleagues, clients and partners
