Develop business administration skills through a Level 3 apprenticeship while providing administrative support to transportation and highways operations.
We're looking for a Business Admin Apprentice to join our Transportation Team based in Winchester, working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration.
Transportation - Build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people. We provide transport solutions that are sustainable, long-lasting and that promote various methods of transport.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Salary: £20,800

How does an apprenticeship work?
As a Business Admin Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the planning team, providing high quality administrative services.
Your day to day will include:
Updating defect and DNP programmes to support ongoing operational planning
Adding accurate comments and information into Confirm
Applying for TM drawings as required for upcoming works
Assisting with the preparation and completion of daily whereabouts information
Allocating teams to the 24‑hour defect report and assigning these to supervisors for pre‑site checks
What are we looking for?
The role of Business Admin Apprentice is great for you if you:
Have GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English OR Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English
Willing to learn
Self-motivated, punctual and organised
Able to communicate clearly, both verbal and written
