Finance Graduate programme offering three years of rotational experience across transactional, operational and specialist finance while studying for a fully funded ACCA or CIMA qualification.
At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a Finance Graduate, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history and innovation. You’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern society and enhancing lives - as we continue to apply, refine and recycle metals that matter, for a healthier and more resilient future.
The role:
This is a three-year programme which includes rotations where you can develop highly transferable skills and competencies in transactional, operational and specialist Finance. Your rotations will take place across our London head office, our manufacturing and service hub in Royston and potentially our Lithuanian global business solutions hub.
We will also sponsor your academic qualification (either CIMA or ACCA) and we offer a highly competitive salary and bonus structure coupled with market leading benefits.
The programme is robust and challenging, but we believe strongly in mentoring and coaching partnerships, and you will receive plenty of support and career advice along the way.
No two career paths are the same; as part of this programme, you’ll forge a journey with JM that reflects your strengths, interests, and passion.
Graduates can select either ACCA or CIMA courses to gain an academic qualification.
JM will fund the following:
100% of the cost of the course plus all core texts and books
Examination entry fees
Paid study leave per module
As a Finance Graduate, you will help drive our goals by:
Working with cross cultural teams
Working within the Group Finance team of a FTSE global company
Working closely with business unit teams across the globe
Managing the day to day queries from stakeholders
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Chemistry or Maths
Have achieved an A grade in A-Level Maths
Available to start full-time in September 2027
Flexible and willing to relocate nationally and/or internationally for the three rotations
Demonstrate ambition and a genuine interest in developing a career in Finance
Even if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!
What we offer:
We make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities. We are also supportive of hybrid and flexible working and where applicable, offer life, medical and other benefits that support our employees’ financial and physical wellbeing, such as:
Retirement savings
Share plans
Saving accounts
