Project Management Graduate

Graduate Project Management programme focused on delivering property projects, including project administration, contract management, site monitoring, client reporting, and stakeholder coordination while working toward RICS Chartered Surveyor status.

What this job involves:   

Our graduate programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification. 

You’ll join us on a 2 – 3 year trainee programme, working towards Project Management Chartered Surveyor status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). 

If you do not have an RICS accredited Real Estate degree, you will complete a fully funded online master's degree (MSc) in Construction Management with the University of the Built Environment as part of the graduate programme. You will be fully supported by both JLL and the University throughout your academic journey.   

Rotating exclusively within the Project Management team you will get variety of experience in how property projects are delivered – from one-off projects to multi-site locations. You will take ownership for real work that will help our clients achieve their ambitions.

You will gain exposure across a project’s lifecycle, working on different sized projects with various types of clients and understand the different strategies clients may have in managing their real estate assets.  

What your day-to-day will look like:  

You’ll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions. The work will vary depending on the team you are in but below are some of what you’ll experience: 

• You’ll be supporting the lead Project Manager to deliver project tasks such as:  

• Progress and Design Team meetings taking minutes to define actions and outcomes to move the project forwards 

• Project Administration from document management/information flow to invoicing 

• Contract Administration tasks such as change control to instructions   

• Drafting and delivering work that may involve presentations to clients, and progress reports 

• You’ll learn how to use various programmes/systems/databases so we can collect information that will help us determining the best solution for clients  

• You’ll attend site visits to monitoring and reporting against contractor progress 

• You’ll research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation that may impact our work  

• You’ll build relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service 

• You’ll take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development to support your growth

Required Skills and Experience:  

• Degree – Minimum 2:2 (predicted or achieved), ideally in Construction Management, Construction Project Management, or similar 

• You’ll have a curious mindset so you can learn and grow with us 

• You’ll be passionate and eager to contribute your thoughts, create fresh ideas, and challenge yourself to do more than you think you could 

• You’ll have an interest in the property industry and how we can shape its future 

• You’ll be able to connect with others easily and build strong relationships

• You will need to have permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas, including Graduate Visas beyond the programme
