Supports Norwegian companies expanding into the UK and Ireland by conducting market research, business analysis, AI-enabled projects, and stakeholder engagement across sectors including energy, defence, health, aquaculture, and technology.
Innovation Norway's London office is looking for a highly motivated Graduate Analyst to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of innovation and international business, supporting Norwegian companies as they expand into the UK and Ireland.
You will gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of sectors including energy, defence, health, aquaculture and tech, while helping our team explore, test and implement new AI-enabled ways of working. As part of a small and dynamic international team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to client work, engage with an exciting ecosystem of companies and stakeholders and help shape how we leverage AI to create greater impact.
You will support our team by:
Conducting market intelligence work across priority sectors
Preparing briefings, reports and strategic insights for internal and external use
Supporting business delegations, industry events, conferences and stakeholder engagements
Exploring and applying AI tools to improve workflows, research and insight generation
Contributing to the day-to-day operations of the office and assisting with practical tasks where needed
This is a highly varied role where no two days are the same. One day you may be exploring AI solutions to automate processes; the next you may be supporting an industry event, help preparing market intelligence for a Norwegian company or helping deliver a high-profile delegation visit.
The following skills are particularly relevant:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Relevant experience in using large language models (LLMs)
Ability to identify opportunities where AI can improve productivity, research, market intelligence and knowledge management
Familiarity with Python, low-code tools or prompt engineering is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A service minded approach
Self-starter the ability to work independently
Required qualifications:
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related field
0-2 years of relevant experience
Commercial mindset
Proactive and result-driven way of working
Fluent in written and spoken English (working language)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proficiency with digital office tools (Teams, SharePoint, CRM, etc.)
Knowledge of Norwegian or Scandinavian languages and industry networks is beneficial, but not required
