This Buying Assistant role at Harding+ involves supporting the fashion and costume jewelry category team with range planning, supplier communications, and system data accuracy for retail stores onboard international cruise ships.
Ready to build a buying career where your ranges don’t sit on a high street… they sail the world?
At Harding+, our fashion ranges land onboard cruise ships travelling across the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Alaska and Northern Europe, seen by millions of guests from every corner of the globe. This is retail on a different scale. Fast-moving, global, and constantly evolving. No two ships perform the same, no two customers behave the same, and every product decision matters.
We’re looking for a Buying Assistant to support our Fashion and Custome Jewellery Category team, someone who’s detail-driven, commercially curious, and excited by the pace of buying in a truly international retail environment.
Opportunity
This Buying Assistant opportunity with Harding+ offers the chance to develop your career in a truly global retail environment, unlike traditional high-street fashion. Supporting the buying team, you will gain hands on experience across range planning, supplier management, product launches, pricing, and commercial analysis while working with fashion collections sold onboard cruise ships operating worldwide.
The role provides excellent exposure to the full buying cycle, allowing you to build strong relationships with international suppliers, collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Marketing, Operations and Finance, and develop valuable commercial and analytical skills.
Working in a fast-paced business where product decisions directly influence performance across multiple regions, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to exciting fashion ranges that reach millions of international customers.
This position is ideal for someone looking to strengthen their buying career within a market-leading global retailer. With ongoing learning opportunities, exposure to international retail operations, and the support of an experienced buying team, you will be well positioned to progress your career while making a meaningful impact in a dynamic and growing business.

You’re interested in fashion and product, but equally comfortable working behind the scenes, making sure everything runs properly, because you understand that great buying is built on strong detail and strong relationships.
Most importantly, you’re proactive, collaborative and ready to learn in a fast-moving, global retail business.
