Based at the Filton manufacturing site, this 2-year rotational graduate program consists of four 6-month rotations across the core supply chain business functions. The role focuses on production scheduling for complex wing assemblies, inventory capacity planning, demand forecasting, tracking supplier KPIs, and utilizing Excel to analyze supply chain performance metrics.

Job Summary

At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
We are currently hiring for 2 graduates to join our supply chain teams on an inital 2 year fixed term contract, with potential for a permanent contract based on performance. This will give you hand-on experience within a fast paced supply chain environment., with ongoing training, development, mentorship, and career progression opportunities.
Through this graduate opportunity you will work in four 6-month rotations across the supply chain business function. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about supply chain, logistics, data, and continuous improvement, giving you the chance to make a real difference to make a meaningful impact on key business operations.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Supply Chain & Scheduling Graduate, you will:
Support daily production scheduling to ensure optimal use of resources.
Analyse supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and capacity management.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to resolve supply issues.
Maintain accurate data in planning systems and support reporting activities.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Contribute to supplier performance reviews and KPI tracking.
What You'll Bring
Essential
Degree qualified - Preferred is Supply Chain Management & Procurement, although we are looking for anything relevant (ie; Engineering Management, Business Management etc.)
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
A proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
Proficiency in Excel or other data/analytics tools (advantageous).
A willingness to learn, adapt, and develop within the role.
Desirable
1-3 years of experience working in a relevant role.
Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
