Overview
Are you passionate about finance and public equity markets? Do you thrive on analysing data, forming opinions, and making a tangible impact? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Research Team at Gallagher, formerly Redington, as an Research Analyst.
As part of our independent, full-time MRT, you’ll play a key role in identifying and researching the best investment managers from around the globe. Our high-conviction, unconflicted approach focuses on selecting only a handful of managers per asset class, ensuring the highest quality for our clients.
How you'll make an impact
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate investment managers.
Attend due diligence meetings to challenge and refine your views.
Collect and interrogate data to support your recommendations.
Prepare market and manager research materials, due diligence reports, and commentaries for our Investment Strategy Committee and client teams.
About You
This role is perfect for someone who is:
Passionate about finance and public equity markets, with the ability to demonstrate this.
Analytical, with a knack for digesting large datasets and diverse perspectives.
Detail-oriented and process-driven, ensuring every ‘T’ is crossed and every ‘I’ is dotted.
Proactive, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
A team player, eager to contribute ideas, listen to others, and confidently articulate opinions.
Curious, always seeking to innovate and improve, including through the use of AI.
Persistent and results-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality output.
Quick to learn, understand, and evaluate.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
While not essential, it would be great if you:
Have professional experience (recent graduates with internship or part-time experience are welcome to apply).
Are working towards or willing to pursue a professional qualification (CFA, CAIA, etc.).
Are familiar with external analytics and data platforms like Bloomberg, ADA Research, eVestment, Style Analytics, or Financial Express
