Join a renewable energy startup as a Graduate Electrical Engineer, designing and delivering electrical systems for utility-scale renewable energy and data centre projects.
Description
Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy - fast. We're combining first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We raised $170M from top-tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the Co-Founder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber and more.
We’re creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.
But we’re not stopping there. We’re also building the Energy Network: a decentralised platform of smart devices to electrify our homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours and helping balance the grid. This network strengthens grid stability - a critical foundation for scaling AI data centers and other energy-intensive industries
We’re looking for hands-on and detail-driven Graduate Electrical Engineers to join our team onsite in London.
You’ll be working closely with a team of engineers who have joined us from the likes of Tesla and SpaceX, helping to plan, design, and build utility scale renewable energy projects across the world.
This role suits someone who thrives on ambiguity, reasons from first principles and brings real engineering rigour. You'll move between project types, own technical deliverables end to end, and weigh how each engineering decision affects cost, schedule and project viability

Design control and communications infrastructure for monitoring, automation and site security
Support cost optimization and technoeconomic analyses
Contribute to continuous improvement of standardised processes and procedures
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field from a top university
Very strong engineering fundamentals
Strong hands-on experience - you've built, tested or debugged your own projects
Safety-conscious and curious - you like understanding how things work (and how to make them better)
Benefits
Competitive salary
Fully expensed tech to match your needs
Paid annual leave
Breakfast and dinner allowance for office based employees
