The Role
This is a 24-month fixed-term contract (FTC) within ENGIE’s Global Business Unit Supply & Energy Management (S&EM), designed to develop future commercial professionals through structured, hands-on experience.
As a Graduate Sales Executive, you’ll rotate across four different areas of the sales function, spending approximately six months in each. This will give you broad exposure to key commercial activities, building a strong foundation across new business, account management, and commercial support.
You’ll support B2B customers in their transition to renewable and low-carbon energy solutions, working closely with experienced sales professionals while developing your understanding of energy markets, customer needs, and sustainability strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end B2B sales process, from lead qualification through to contract agreement
Engage with prospective customers to understand their energy needs, commercial drivers, and sustainability objectives
Assist in preparing tailored proposals and presentations for renewable energy solutions, including PPAs and supply contracts
Build and actively manage a pipeline of opportunities using CRM systems
Develop relationships with SME and mid-market customers, supporting retention and growth
Collaborate with internal teams (pricing, structuring, legal, risk, and operations) to deliver commercially robust solutions
Build knowledge of energy markets, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks
Support customers with decarbonisation strategies and net-zero planning
Requirements
Must Have:
Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related field
Strong interest in energy markets, sustainability, and commercial environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, reliable, and results-oriented mindset
Strong collaboration skills and ability to prioritise effectively
Fluency in English
Nice to Have:
Additional language skills
Exposure to sales, commercial, or customer-facing roles
Interest in financial markets, risk, or energy trading
