The Role
As a Quantity Surveying Graduate, you will join our Commercial team and gain practical experience across the full project lifecycle, supporting the commercial management of major M&E projects.
Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers, you will develop your understanding of cost control, procurement, subcontract management, valuations, variations and project reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to develop a long-term career within the construction and engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Quantity Surveying team with project cost control and reporting.
Assist with the preparation of valuations, applications for payment and cost reports.
Support the management of subcontractor accounts and payments.
Assist with reviewing contracts, variations and commercial documentation.
Support procurement activities and analysis of project costs.
Assist with tracking project budgets and forecasts.
Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.
Work collaboratively with project, procurement, estimating and finance teams.
Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
A willingness to learn and develop within a commercial environment.
Previous construction experience is advantageous but not essential.
