The Role
As an Estimation Graduate, you will join our Estimating team and develop an understanding of the commercial and technical processes involved in preparing tenders for major M&E projects.
Working closely with experienced Estimators, Engineers and project teams, you will gain exposure to drawings, specifications, quantities, supplier quotations and tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of estimates and tenders.
Review project drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
Assist with quantity take-offs and material calculations.
Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Support the preparation of tender pricing.
Maintain estimating records and databases.
Assist with tender reviews and commercial comparisons.
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams as required.
Support the Estimating team with general project and tender activities.
Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to interpret technical information.
Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Strong organisational skills.
Commercial awareness and willingness to learn.
Construction or engineering experience is advantageous.
