We are looking for a Graduate Production/Manufacturing Engineer to join our high-performance Manufacturing Team, producing precision components in a fast-paced, advanced engineering environment.
Our operations span two advanced manufacturing facilities in Northampton, featuring 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines, mill-turns, lathes and grinders supported by automation for complex, high-precision production. With internal design, build, and test, all processes are fully integrated through Siemens NX and Teamcenter, ensuring seamless collaboration from concept to completion.
This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from highly skilled engineers while gaining hands-on experience across the full manufacturing lifecycle.
The Role:
Develop & optimise multi-axis CNC programs using CAM.
Design and implement production fixturing using CAD.
Take ownership of manufacturing processes from concept to production.
Support new product introduction, tooling, and process development.
Support shopfloor staff, driving continuous improvement.
Estimate production times and costs, managing BOMs.
Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice.
Candidate Profile:
Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline (2:1 or above).
Experience using 3D CAD software.
Understanding of 2D engineering drawings and GD&T.
Basic knowledge of CAM systems (experience advantageous).
Understanding of internal combustion engine principles.
Relevant work experience in automotive, motorsport, or manufacturing environments.
Practical, hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload.
A proactive attitude towards learning and development.
Passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
