This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career within Talent, Learning & Development and the wider HR function. You'll gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle, supporting Emerging Talent attraction and recruitment, talent attraction, learning and development initiatives, onboarding, programme delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Working as part of our wider Talent team, you'll have structured support and development, exposure to experienced Talent and L&D professionals, and the opportunity to build valuable skills in recruitment, talent development, learning design, project coordination and stakeholder management. There is also the option to complete a CIPD Level 5 Apprenticeship alongside the role.

What you'll be doing

• Support the delivery of Emerging Talent recruitment, along with co-ordinating assessment centres, interviews, onboarding activities and candidate communications to deliver an excellent candidate experience.

• Partner with Learning & Development colleagues to identify business needs and support capability-building initiatives.

• Support the design and delivery of learning programmes, workshops and digital learning solutions.

• Contribute to talent attraction activities, including careers fairs, employer branding and university partnerships.

• Manage recruitment and learning systems, reporting, assessment platforms and programme documentation, alongside building effective relationships with hiring managers, learners and stakeholders across the business.

• Support the team’s transition from the current Learning Management System (LMS) to become more of a Learning Experience Platform (LXP).

• Build curiosity and practical confidence with AI by exploring emerging tools and supporting the learning journey for designing, testing and improving AI agents that can enhance the wider L&D agenda.

• Maintain high standards of governance, compliance, accuracy and operational excellence across Talent and Learning activities.

What you'll learn

Through hands-on experience across the wider Talent team, you'll develop a broad understanding of talent attraction, recruitment, learning and development, workforce capability and talent management.

You'll gain experience managing recruitment campaigns, supporting learning and development initiatives, analysing data and building relationships with stakeholders across the business. You'll also develop an understanding of how Emerging Talent programmes, skills development and workforce planning support business performance and future growth.

This experience will provide a strong foundation for a future career in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent Management or the wider HR profession.

• A recent graduate, or equivalent, with an interest in Talent or Learning & Development. 

• A genuine desire to build a long-term career within Talent or Learning & Development.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Comfortable using technology, AI, systems and data to support decision-making and improve outcomes.

• Curious, proactive and eager to learn, with a growth mindset.

• Passionate about developing people and creating great experiences for candidates, learners and colleagues.

• Adaptable and resilient, with a willingness to take ownership and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work towards a professional qualification, with the opportunity to complete a CIPD Level 5 Apprenticeship alongside the role.
