From vessel design and technical consultancy to research and in-service support, you will have opportunities to apply what you have learnt at university while developing your knowledge across different areas of naval architecture.
We want you to build a career that reflects your interests and ambitions. Through varied project experience, tailored development and support from experienced mentors, you will be encouraged to develop your strengths, broaden your experience and increasingly take ownership as your confidence grows.
What might you work on?
Depending on your interests and project requirements, you could contribute to:
The design and development of ships, submarines and specialist craft
Naval architecture studies and technical assessments
Vessel performance, stability, structures and general arrangement activities
In-service support and the development of solutions for existing vessels
Research into emerging technologies and future maritime challenges
What can you expect from us?

The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Enthusiasm for solving engineering problems and delivering high-quality work for clients
Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
