Finance Graduate

BUUK Infrastructure Finance Graduate role developing experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, finance systems and providing financial support to business stakeholders.

We are looking for a Finance Graduate who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Purpose of this role

• To learn on the job and off the job skills which will enable the development of the candidate to become the finance leader of the future.

Your key responsibilities are

• Develop an understanding of the finances of the whole BUUK group.

• Develop an understanding of finance processes and systems.

• Develop an understanding financial reporting.

• Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continued financial support is provided to non-financial leaders.

• Develop an understanding of budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• A degree (or equivalent) in a business/finance related subject. You will be on track to achieve, or have achieved a minimum of a 2.1.

Experience/Knowledge

• Ability and desire to deliver the highest quality support to internal and external stakeholders.

• Customer focussed.

Abilities/Skills

• Demonstrate strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Excellent listening skills, the ability to build rapport and empathise with customers.

• A positive, friendly, and pro-active attitude.

• Well-developed organisation skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Desirable

• Experience of using finance systems.

• Experience working as part of a team.

• Understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel.

Conditions of Employment

• You will hold a driving licence or be in the process of obtaining one.
