Balfour Beatty Graduate Risk Analyst role develops graduates in identifying, analysing and managing project risks across major power, infrastructure and construction projects.

In this role, you’ll join one of our Balfour Beatty Power T&D teams as a Graduate Risk Analyst, based in Motherwell.
What you'll be doing
As a Graduate Risk Analyst you’ll play an important role in identifying, assessing, and managing risks across major infrastructure and construction projects. Working alongside experienced risk managers, engineers, and project teams, you'll apply your academic knowledge in a practical environment while developing the technical, analytical, and professional skills needed for a successful career in risk management.
You'll gain experience identifying potential project risks, conducting risk assessments, analysing data, and developing mitigation strategies to minimise threats to project cost, programme, quality, and delivery. You'll support with:
Identifying, assessing, and monitoring project risks across major infrastructure and construction projects to help ensure successful delivery.
Developing and maintaining project risk registers, ensuring risks are accurately recorded, regularly reviewed, and aligned with project objectives.
Conducting qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to evaluate potential impacts on project cost, programme, quality, and delivery.
Supporting the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies, helping project teams minimise threats and manage uncertainty.
Analysing risk data, identifying trends, and assessing potential impacts on project performance to support informed decision-making.
Who we're looking for
We value your potential over past experience and are looking for graduates with a degree in Finance, Business or related and a genuine interest in our industry. To be eligible, you’ll need to achieve a minimum 2:2 honours degree by the time you start.
