Role Description 

Graduate Systems Engineers can be deployed into Systems Engineering, Mission Systems, Flight Systems, Electromagnetics and Test & Evaluation roles. You will be providing critical capabilities to our national and international customers working on products such as Typhoon, Future Combat Air System, Autonomous Systems and Mission Support Products.

As well as technical engineering, you will also learn the importance of schedule, cost, stakeholder management and through-life support whilst considering safety and environmental concerns. These roles may include UK and International business travel.

As a Graduate Systems Engineer, your duties may include, but not be limited to:

•    Requirements Management.
•    System Specification.
•    Research, Design & Development.
•    Systems Modelling & Integration.
•    Qualification, Certification & Acceptance.
•    Product Support.

All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.

Qualification requirements

You must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a minimum 2:2 bachelor’s degree or a pass at master’s level in the following subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Aerospace, Technology, Systems or Engineering.
