The Digital & IT team support the Ayvens UK business by providing effective and efficient capabilities that allow for a flexible, secure, and sustainable way of working. The wider team are responsible for providing the organisation with appropriate capabilities relating to IT Architecture, Business Analysis, IT Infrastructure, Database Management, IT Service Desk, IT Reporting, Customer Implementation, Development and Change Delivery.

We are currently seeking a Graduate Developer to join the team, where you as the successful applicant will be given the opportunity to build on theoretical knowledge

Key purpose

• Contribute to the design of all web-based applications to complement our current core system and continually

• improve the performance of the business applications.

• Contribute to the delivery of releases of web-based applications to meet business objectives

Responsibilities

• Support in the design and development of web-based applications to complement our current core system ensuring they comply with company standards.

• Ensure that internally developed applications are tested in line with end user requirements and good practice

• Support and maintain existing applications developed by the Application Development Team

• Contribute to the ongoing maturity of the IT software infrastructure within the business by ensuring that latest technologies and practices are continually being considered and adopted

• Continually develop own skills to help increase overall capability of the team

• Actively contribute to team discussions and decisions

Skills, Experience & Background

• Knowledge and understanding of software development technologies

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually

• Ability to deliver within given timescales and constraints

• Knowledge and understanding of software development technologies
