What You Will Be Doing:

Key Accountabilities

·      Reporting to Brownfield Team Principal/Associate Director.

·      Basic understanding of geological, geotechnical, and brownfield risks.

·      Delivery of projects:

·      Basic financial and project management (understanding project finances and working to a budget).

·      Supervise ground investigations and undertake remediation and earthworks validation works.

·      Undertake soil sampling and ground gas / groundwater monitoring.

·      Prepare Phase 1, 2 reports.

·      Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other project/business stakeholders.

·      Provide technical and operational support to the wider Ayesa business including Brownfield North and South Teams.

Requirements

What You Bring:

·      BSc and/or MSc in Geology/Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Hydrogeology/Environmental Sciences.

·      Knowledge of UK/EU standards.

·      Clean Full UK Driving Licence.

·      Excellent communication skills.

·      Keen to learn and improve on technical and report writing skills.

·      Excellent communication and inter-personal skills necessary to work as part of a team and to engage with senior management, clients, and regulators.

·      Basic technical understanding of brownfield engineering and contaminated land.

·      Demonstrate an ability to understand complex problems.

·      Can effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships, always aiming to exceed client expectations.

·      Excellent time and organisational skills allowing completion of work to time and budget.

·      Is committed to Continued Professional Development and remains up-to-date with current developments in the industry
