Arup Graduate Asset Management / Management Consulting role helping infrastructure clients improve asset management, investment planning, operations and decision-making through research, data analysis and consulting projects.

The Opportunity

The Assets and Operations team is part of the Management Consulting Service within Arup. We are active in the Transport, Water, Energy and Rail markets and undertake a wide range of work including asset management, long-term investment planning, decision support, data and information management, innovation and technology, regulatory monitoring and reporting and business case development.

The team provides high value professional services to help solve the complex needs of our clients and develop innovative solutions to their challenges. Projects could range from advising a public body on administering a multimillion-pound innovation fund, to improving asset management practices.

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams, typically comprising a mix of skills and competencies. Each project team size varies depending on the scope and scale of our client's briefs.

• Projects: work on individual projects for a variety of clients, whilst learning from our highly experienced team;

• Engagement: work closely with clients to develop solutions on a project-by-project basis;  

• Research: source, research and analyse data and information from a variety of sources to inform project delivery;  

• Communicate: present your findings in clear, concise and impactful reports and presentations; and,

• Impact: help major organisations transform their asset management practices and operations.

Is this role right for you?  

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes: A bachelor's degree in relevant academic discipline, such as Civil Engineering; Business & Commerce; Data Science / Engineering; Structural Engineering.

Skills and experience interested in creative approach to problem solving and effective communication; Willingness to learn new skills; Aptitude to work on your own initiative and be proactive; Curiosity and a desire for continuous learning; Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). To be considered for a graduate opportunity, your application must include a copy of your academic transcript and meet the following criteria:  

• Full working rights in the country of application  

• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role  

• Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.
