Graduate Civil Engineer role involving the design of roads, drainage, foundations, and structures while supporting infrastructure projects and working toward Chartered Engineer status.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Undertake civil engineering design works including roads and drainage, foundation design and structural design
Support senior engineers with calculations, reports, drawings and technical documentation
Learn and apply relevant standards including British Standards and Eurocodes
Produce drawings and sketches for practical, constructable design solutions
Undertake site visits including asset inspections and construction support
Develop an understanding of construction methods and sequencing
Assist in preparing design deliverables for clients and contractors
Work collaboratively with engineers, clients and contractors
Learn best practice for quality assurance, health & safety compliance and commercial awareness
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
Good understanding of engineering fundamentals
A willingness to learn and develop professionally
Good communication and teamwork skills
Full UK driving license with flexibility to attend client sites
Qualifications
A degree, or expected degree, in Civil Engineering or an equivalent related degree (Bachelors or Masters)
Desire to gain Professional Qualification with the Institution of Civil Engineers
