Power that runs the world | Discover careers in Operations
Operations roles at Amazon put you at the center of how things move from a click to a doorstep.
You’ll help design, improve, and run systems that connect people, products, and places, at scale. You’ll take ownership early, work closely with teams to solve real-world challenges, and see the direct results of your decisions as they reach customers every day.
Here, the impact of what you build isn’t abstract, it’s visible, immediate, and meaningful - keeping one of the world’s most complex operations moving forward.
This is where your journey takes shape through action, responsibility, and the opportunity to grow in many directions.

A day in the life
Every day is a little different as an HR Partner. As the front-line HR representative to Team Leads and Area Managers in the Fulfillment Center, you'll help drive a positive Associate experience through facilitating engagement activities and managing complex queries.
You might spend your morning coaching an Area Manager through a people-related challenge and addressing employee cases, then spend your afternoon analyzing workforce data on attrition and attendance to help the HR team identify trends and act.
As part of the People Experience and Technology Solutions (PXT) team, you'll partner with operations and HR teams to execute company-wide programs, actively seeking opportunities to invent and simplify. You'll support investigations, conduct compliance audits, and collaborate with stakeholders across HR Shared Services, Payroll, and High Volume Hiring — all while developing your knowledge of local employment law and building the skills to insist on the highest standards in everything you do.

Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one. Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world. Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind. You'll also hear us say that at Amazon, it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon's very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.
