This graduate role at Alliance Medical involves a 2-year training programme in radiopharmacy, where you will work in production or quality control of radiopharmaceuticals, gaining hands-on experience in GMP manufacturing, analytical testing, and radiation safety within a clinical laboratory environment.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified scientific graduate to join our Radiopharmacy team.
Following the Alliance Medical Radiopharmacy (AMR) Graduate Scheme and working in one of our Radiopharmaceutical Production Units (RPUs) you will gain extensive experience in radiopharmacy over a 2-year period.

Working within one of the RPUs you will undertake a comprehensive training scheme as either a Production Radiochemist or Quality Control (QC) Radiochemist.
Graduates placed within the Production Radiochemist team will receive training focused on the operation of cyclotrons and the manufacture of radiopharmaceuticals in a GMP environment. Candidates working in the QC team will be focused analytical testing of radiopharmaceuticals using a wide range of techniques.
Extensive training is Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), radiation safety and Quality Management Systems will be delivered to all. The availability or Production/QC roles will be determined by the operational needs of the RPU.
Radiopharmaceuticals by their very nature have an extremely short shelf-life. As such these roles will entail unsocial hours and shift work. This is reflected in the remuneration with a local shift pattern to assure a harmonious work-life balance is maintained.
The AMR Graduate Scheme includes routine progress assessments and staged salary uplifts that are awarded as training milestones are achieved.
We are inviting applications from newly qualified graduates from a scientific background. To be considered for the role you must hold a BSc/MSc and have graduated in the last 12 months (or expect to graduate at the end of this academic year).
