Develops commercial skills through 2.5 years of rotations across sales, brand management, category management, and operations within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) business.

We’re looking for a particular type of graduate.

Not the person who has all the answers. The person who wants to find them. We’re looking for people who are curious enough to ask questions, confident enough to share ideas and resilient enough to keep going when things don’t go to plan.

People who enjoy being part of a team. People who welcome feedback and use it to get better. People who can adapt, learn quickly and stay positive in a fast-moving environment. FMCG experience isn’t expected. A willingness to learn is.

If you’re naturally curious, enjoy solving problems with others and are ready to challenge yourself from day one, we’d like to hear from you.

We want graduates who are:

  • Curious and full of ideas

  • Resilient and robust

  • Team players

  • Coachable and eager to learn

If that sounds like you, this could be where your career starts.

The Role:

Our Commercial Graduate Scheme is designed to develop the next generation of commercial leaders at All About Food. Over 2.5 years, you’ll complete a series of rotations across key business functions, building a broad understanding of how a successful FMCG business operates.

You could gain experience in:

  • Sales

  • Brand

  • Category

  • Operations

You’ll work on real projects, solve genuine business challenges, and build relationships with colleagues, customers, brand partners, and suppliers from day one.

This isn’t a programme where you spend years observing from the sidelines. You’ll be trusted with responsibility, encouraged to contribute ideas, and be supported to develop the skills needed for a successful commercial career.

Where and how you’ll work:

Based at our office in Central Manchester, you’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where learning happens every day.

As part of the Commercial Graduate Scheme, you’ll rotate across three different teams and functions, giving you the opportunity to experience different ways of working, build a wide network across the business, and develop a broad commercial skillset.

You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues who will support your development, whilst also being trusted to take ownership of meaningful projects and responsibilities from the outset.

No two rotations will be the same, but throughout the programme you can expect:

  • A blend of collaborative team working and independent project ownership

  • Regular exposure to senior leaders and key business stakeholders

  • Opportunities to work cross-functionally with teams across the business

  • Structured learning, coaching and on-the-job development

  • A supportive environment where curiosity, fresh thinking and new ideas are encouraged

We’re looking for people who want to get stuck in, ask questions, challenge the status quo, and make a real contribution from day one.

Attributes you’ll bring:

  • You are about to graduate/ have recently graduated OR have relevant post-college work experience.

  • You enjoy working with others, building relationships, and contributing to a shared goal. You recognise that great results come from great collaboration.

  • You stay positive when plans change, challenges arise, or priorities shift. You’re willing to roll your sleeves up, learn from setbacks, and keep moving forward.

  • You love learning, asking questions, and understanding how things work. You’re confident bringing fresh ideas to the table and always looking for ways to improve.

  • You’re excited by brands, retail, consumers, and the food industry.

  • You enjoy solving problems and thinking differently.

  • You want a role with genuine responsibility from the start.

  • You’re eager to learn and develop quickly.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Trusted to Do:

  • Support commercial projects across multiple business functions.

  • Analyse data and use insights to support decision-making.

  • Build relationships with internal teams and external partners.

  • Contribute ideas that improve processes, performance, and ways of working.

  • Take ownership of meaningful work from the beginning of your career.

  • Learn from experienced colleagues and develop your commercial expertise.

Benefits:

  • Salary of £31,000 plus a signing on bonus of £2,000

  • Annual bonus of up to 12.5%

  • 25 days paid holiday + bank holidays

  • Additional holiday day for birthday

  • Additional holiday days for service

  • Option to buy 5 extra days annual leave

  • Pension matched up to 8% (auto-enrolment or salary sacrifice)

  • Death in service (4 x salary)

  • Critical illness (5 x salary)

  • Bupa health cover (including existing medical conditions)

  • Sample scheme

  • Surprise & delight scheme: VIP days including Royal Ascot & Henley

  • Paid sabbatical

If you’re curious, resilient, collaborative, and ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
