Role Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the commercial operations of a leading food manufacturer. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting key accounts, contributing to sales planning, and engaging in customer-facing projects that make a real impact on business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with managing customer accounts, including preparing presentations, reports, and sales materials.
Support the development and delivery of promotional plans and pricing strategies.
Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Help organise customer meetings and trade events.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Maintain and update commercial databases and systems.

Requirements
Degree Qualification: A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related commercial discipline, with a minimum classification of 2:2 (or equivalent).
Commercial Interest: Genuine enthusiasm for sales, commercial strategy, and the food industry.
Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to interpret data, draw insights, and communicate effectively across teams.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong attention to detail.
Commercial Awareness: Understanding of market dynamics and customer needs within the food sector.
Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, with a problem-solving mindset.
