We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at our Airdrie headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience within a busy commercial finance function while working towards a professional accountancy qualification.

The Opportunity

This role will provide exposure to all areas of the finance department, helping you build a strong foundation in financial and management accounting within a dynamic manufacturing business. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals and senior stakeholders across the business to develop your technical knowledge and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting

• Supporting the preparation of management accounts

• Performing balance sheet reconciliations

• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes

• Supporting cash flow reporting and analysis

• Processing and analysing financial data

• Assisting with audit preparation and compliance requirements

• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls

• Producing reports and analysis to support business decision-making

About You

• Recently graduated, or due to graduate, with a degree in:

  • Accounting & Finance

  • Finance

  • Economics

  • Business Management

  • Mathematics

  • A related discipline
