The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to launch their engineering career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a permanent member of our engineering team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our production equipment and systems, gaining valuable hands-on experience while contributing to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
Assist engineers with routine maintenance and repair of machinery
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
Participate in fault diagnosis and resolution
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate records of work carried out
Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
What You’ll Learn
Develop technical skills in mechanical and electrical engineering
Gain exposure to food production processes and compliance standards
Learn about site service utilities (steam, water, electricity) and their role in manufacturing
Understand the impact of engineering on operational efficiency
Build teamwork and communication skills through collaboration with cross-functional teams
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline—such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering—with a minimum classification of 2:2 (or equivalent)
Strong interest in industrial engineering and food production
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Effective communicator and team player
