The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to launch their engineering career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a permanent member of our engineering team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our production equipment and systems, gaining valuable hands-on experience while contributing to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with routine maintenance and repair of machinery

  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment

  • Participate in fault diagnosis and resolution

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out

  • Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times

What You’ll Learn

  • Develop technical skills in mechanical and electrical engineering

  • Gain exposure to food production processes and compliance standards

  • Learn about site service utilities (steam, water, electricity) and their role in manufacturing

  • Understand the impact of engineering on operational efficiency

  • Build teamwork and communication skills through collaboration with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline—such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering—with a minimum classification of 2:2 (or equivalent)

  • Strong interest in industrial engineering and food production

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative

  • Effective communicator and team player
