Gain hands-on experience across digital advertising channels by planning, managing, and analysing campaigns for entertainment and cultural clients through a structured graduate programme.

About AKA

AKA is one of the world's leading entertainment marketing agencies, creating campaigns for theatre, live entertainment, museums, galleries, attractions, film and music. From the West End's biggest shows to some of the UK's most recognised cultural organisations, we help bring audiences to unforgettable experiences.

We're looking for someone at the very start of their career who is curious, ambitious and excited by digital marketing. No agency experience is required. What matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for building a career in media.

About the Programme

This is a paid four-month graduate programme designed to give you hands-on experience across every part of our Digital Media team. Rather than being placed in one role, you'll rotate through each of our specialist disciplines, learning directly from experienced practitioners before bringing everything together in your final month.

During the programme you'll spend one month in:

  • Google Ads

  • Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest etc.)

  • Display & Programmatic Media

  • Bringing everything together through campaign planning, reporting, onboarding and client support

By the end of the programme you'll have a solid understanding of how digital campaigns are planned, bought, optimised and reported. Successful graduates will have the opportunity to move into a permanent Digital Media Executive position.

What You'll Do

Throughout the programme you'll learn how to:

  • Build and optimise live digital advertising campaigns

  • Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve results

  • Work with Google, Meta and Display advertising platforms

  • Produce reports that explain campaign performance in a clear and engaging way

  • Support client meetings and contribute ideas

  • Work alongside strategy, creative, social, data and client services teams

  • Learn how campaigns are planned from brief through to delivery

  • Manage campaign budgets, bookings and media schedules

  • Stay on top of new platform updates, trends and emerging technologies

What We're Looking For

We're far more interested in potential than experience.

The people who succeed in this role tend to be:

  • Naturally curious and always asking "why?"

  • Proactive—they spot problems and look for solutions

  • Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks

  • Comfortable working with numbers and data

  • Strong communicators who enjoy working with people

  • Eager to learn and open to feedback

  • Passionate about digital marketing, advertising or media

  • Excited by entertainment, culture, theatre or live experiences

You don't need to know how to use Google Ads or Meta before you join us—we'll teach you.

We'd Love It If You Also...

  • Follow developments in social media, advertising or technology

  • Enjoy analysing data or solving problems

  • Have experimented with content creation, websites or social media (personally or academically)

  • Have an interest in entertainment, arts and culture

What You'll Get

  • A structured learning programme across four specialist media disciplines

  • Dedicated mentoring from experienced digital marketers

  • Hands-on experience working on major entertainment brands

  • Regular feedback and coaching throughout the programme

  • A potential pathway into a permanent Digital Media Executive role

  • Fully flexible working

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to 31 days)

  • Complimentary theatre tickets

  • Enhanced parental leave

  • Travel loan

  • Ride to Work scheme

  • Life assurance

  • Employee Assistance Programme
